‘An Accident of the History of Technology’ podcast with Guy Edmonds

Guy EdmondsCogNovo Research Fellow, Guy Edmonds, has published a podcast with Roger Malina on the very early days of cinema.

It has the title “The Divorce of Eye and Ear is an Accident of the History of Technology” and is available on the international, interdisciplinary, multi-lingual online platform, Creative Disturbances.

Creative Disturbances is a new Leonardo channel that “provides a unique virtual environment for the intellectually curious across the globe to meet, network, collaborate, create, and socialize.”

In the podcast, Guy and Roger discuss the early days of the cell pone as a cinematic device and celebrate audio-visual heritage day. He also talks about his interdisciplinary interactions with the 25 PhD students currently working in the CogNovo programme at Plymouth University.
