As part of Peckham24’s moving image programme, South Kiosk presents an hour long programme of films featuring the work of visual artists with strong links to the Cornish peninsula. ‘Omgyjer Glusek’ is a product of South Kiosk’s recent participation in The Cornwall Workshop with film maker Ben Rivers and of the gallery’s recent links with Falmouth University.

The programme features work by  Allister Gall, whose research at Plymouth University explores the Cinema of Imperfection, an interrogation of the emancipatory potential of the idea of imperfection, operating in-between d.i.y. subculture, underground activity and academic research.

Originally screened accompanied by a live score, Tamar explores the river that separates Cornwall from mainland Britain, a cornerstone of Cornwall’s unique identity.
