INDIA BUYS S-400 ANTI-BALLISTIC MISSILE SYSTEMS FOR 10,6 BILLION DOLLARS

India has concluded negotiations and defined the modalities for the procurement of an undisclosed number of Russian made S-400 Triumph air defence/anti-ballistic missile systems.

The total value of the deal is approximately 10.6 billion dollars. The negotiations were concluded last Monday during the meeting of the India-Russia Inter Governmental Commission on Military-Technical-Cooperation (IRIGC-MTC).

The deal will be formally signed this December during the visit of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Russia for the annual summit with President Vladimir Putin.

According to Indian Newswire UNI the Indian Prime Minister will also sign a second agreement regarding the procurement of another Russian made nuclear submarine
