SECOND US NAVY CARRIER ENTERS WESTERN PACIFIC OCEAN

The super carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt and its supporting warships have entered the western Pacific and will “integrate” with other US ships deployed in the region, including those near the Korean peninsula.

The US Navy didn’t specifically say if the Roosevelt would join the USS Ronald Reagan carrier strike group currently operating near Korea. But it made clear the Roosevelt would be operating with other US and allied warships in the US 7th Fleet area, which is based in Yokosuka, Japan. The Reagan is part of the US 7th Fleet.
