Enterprise Architecture with Plymouth University

Enterprise Architecture at Plymouth University is a new and developing initiative. It is not about setting the strategy for the business; rather it follows and aligns with the business strategies set out by the Vice-Chancellor and the executive team.

Enterprise Architecture exists to inform, guide and steer based on a sound understanding of potential value, associated cost and certainty of outcome. It creates the frames of reference and the environment, in which investment decisions relating to value creation and architecture can be made.

To aid in this endeavour, Enterprise Architecture will produce a series of documents covering strategy, policy, procedure, standards and principles. It is the belief of the enterprise team that these publications should be shared with whoever needs to see them, as such they will be published within the Enterprise Architecture Repository once approved by the Enterprise Architecture Board.
