8pm<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>The Methodist Chapel, West Bay, Bridport, DT6 4EN<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Screening of artists&#8217; film\u00a0at <a href=\"http:\/\/force8.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Force 8<\/a>, the collective art project founded by Anna Best and Hester Schofield<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each artist whose moving image work is included in this programme engages directly with the sea to represent their experience through a range of strategies, from the camera as witness, observing and recording natural phenomena and human activities, to working with film as a poetic medium.<\/p>\n<p>Artists include Plymouth University postgraduate students, alumni and researchers Rachael Allain, Laura Hopes, Stuart Moore,\u00a0Kayla Parker and Sally Waterman.<\/p>\n<p><em>Bodies of Water<\/em> was originally curated by Plymouth University researcher <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plymouth.ac.uk\/staff\/kayla-parker\">Dr Kayla Parker<\/a> for\u00a0<em>The Power of the Sea<\/em>\u00a0exhibition at the Royal West of England Academy, Bristol.<\/p>\n<p>The films will be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kaylaparker.co.uk\/presentations\/presentation\/film_programme_bodies-of-water.html\" target=\"_blank\">introduced by Kayla Parker<\/a> and Stuart Moore, and there&#8217;s an opportunity to discuss\u00a0the programme after the screening.<\/p>\n<p>You can also see drawings created by Bodies of Water artist, Peter Matthews, in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plymouth.ac.uk\/whats-on\/sea-swim-and-head-above-water\" target=\"_blank\">Sea Swim: Head Above Water<\/a> exhibition, Peninsula Arts Gallery, Plymouth, from 23 July &gt;
