In this seminar, shared by ARC (Artistic Research Cluster) and Performance.Experience.Presence (P.E.P)<\/a> research group, Mathew\u00a0will talk about his ongoing\u00a0Space Interface<\/i>\u00a0collaboration with Eberhard Kranemann, exploring their influences and creative processes.<\/p>\n

Space Interface<\/i>\u00a0synthesises hybrid space through mixed reality performance creating multi-level immersive environments in which the performers and audience are encouraged to simultaneously occupy multiple points on the mixed reality continuum.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Eberhard Kranemann<\/a> is an innovator in audiovisual art and avant \u00adgarde music. Having previously worked with Joseph Beuys, his collaborative practice continues to be an important testbed for the origination of experimentation. He is also known for cofounding electronic music bands such as Kraftwerk, Neu! Pissoff, and later assumed the pseudonym Fritz Muller.<\/p>\n

Mathew Emmett<\/a> is an artist and architect specializing in site responsive installation, sound and interdisciplinary research in situated cognition. He trained at the Bartlett, Architectural Association and attended Karlheinz Stockhausen\u2019s summer school, and has since performed at the TATE, exhibited internationally, and continued collaboration with\u00a0choreographer Adam Benjamin with projects in Japan, Perception Lab, Germany and the architectural theorist Charles Jencks. He is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader for 3D Design\u00a0at Plymouth University.<\/p>\n
