
{"id":1579,"date":"2016-11-24T09:00:18","date_gmt":"2016-11-24T09:00:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.plymouth.ac.uk\/artsinstitute\/?p=1579"},"modified":"2016-11-26T14:04:44","modified_gmt":"2016-11-26T14:04:44","slug":"six-plymouth-university-researchers-to-become-members-of-ahrc-peer-review-college","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.plymouth.ac.uk\/artsinstitute\/2016\/11\/24\/six-plymouth-university-researchers-to-become-members-of-ahrc-peer-review-college\/","title":{"rendered":"Six Plymouth University Researchers become members of AHRC Peer Review College"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Six researchers from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Plymouth University have recently been selected as members of the Arts &amp; Humanities Research Council (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ahrc.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">AHRC<\/a>) Peer Review College.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.plymouth.ac.uk\/staff\/alessandro-aurigi\">Professor Alessandro Aurigi<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plymouth.ac.uk\/staff\/anya-lewin\">Dr Anya Lewin<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plymouth.ac.uk\/staff\/daniel-maudlin\">Professor Daniel Maudlin<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plymouth.ac.uk\/staff\/dafydd-moore\">Professor Dafydd Moore<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plymouth.ac.uk\/staff\/angela-smith\">Dr Angela Smith<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plymouth.ac.uk\/staff\/katharine-willis\">Dr Katharine Willis<\/a> were chosen to join 1,500 existing members from higher education institutes and independent research organisations from within the United Kingdom and overseas.<\/p>\n<p>Members provide expert reviews of grant proposals across the range of the AHRC&#8217;s schemes within their areas of expertise. The reviews inform panels and, ultimately, the AHRC&#8217;s decision-making processes.
