<\/i>This presentation will chart the development of Natalie Raven<\/a>‘s practice research over the past 6 months, unravelling the variety of ways in which she has\u00a0responded both physically and philosophically to her concept of \u2018bodycloth\u2019.<\/p>\n

Natalie\u00a0will discuss how her\u00a0most recent practice,\u00a0la saint trinit\u00e9<\/a>,\u00a0<\/i>has revealed insight into the multiple ways that her body, gender, self, and identity are in flux. She will explore the ways in which her live art practice exists as the artistic embodiment of her lived experience, personal political belief, and theoretical engagement, concluding by critically<\/a> reflecting on what these processes and experiences have unveiled for her, as an artist researcher.<\/p>\n

Natalie is a recipient of a School of Humanities & Performing Arts<\/a> studentship, in the final year of her PhD at Plymouth University. She is supervised by Prof Roberta Mock<\/a> and Dr Victor Ladron de Guevara<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
