{"id":2156,"date":"2017-03-15T09:00:54","date_gmt":"2017-03-15T09:00:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.plymouth.ac.uk\/artsinstitute\/?p=2156"},"modified":"2017-03-13T14:39:39","modified_gmt":"2017-03-13T14:39:39","slug":"call-for-papers-the-institute-of-health-and-community-ihc-methodological-innovations-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.plymouth.ac.uk\/artsinstitute\/2017\/03\/15\/call-for-papers-the-institute-of-health-and-community-ihc-methodological-innovations-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Papers: Methodological Innovations Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: black\">The Institute of Health and Community (IHC) Methodological Innovations Conference<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: black\">Thursday, May 25<sup>th,<\/sup> 2017<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: black\">Contemporary, collaborative and creative approaches to research questions<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: black\">Call for papers extended deadline 31<sup>st<\/sup> March<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: black\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: black\">The I<a href=\"https:\/\/www.plymouth.ac.uk\/research\/institutes\/health-community\">nstitute of Health and Community<\/a> at the University of Plymouth are delighted to invite you to their interdisciplinary Methodological Innovations Conference with a theme showcasing <strong>contemporary, collaborative and creative approaches to research questions<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: black\">The conference offers a unique opportunity to debate current and future issues of relevance, with delegates drawn from different disciplines and professional areas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: black\">The keynote presentation is entitled: \u2018Working towards an antidote to anti-ageing\u2019 and will be given by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leedsbeckett.ac.uk\/staff\/professor-jayne-raisborough\/\">Professor Jayne Raisborough<\/a>, School of Cultural Studies &amp; Humanities, Leeds Becket University who will talk about her film on \u2018ageing\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: black\">The <a href=\"http:\/\/literatureworks.org.uk\/southwestwriters\/thom-boulton-blaidh-nemorlith\/\">Poet Laureate for Plymouth, Thom Boulton, also known as Blaidh Nemorlith<\/a>, will be in attendance throughout the day and his performance at the conference close will draw on some of the things he has heard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: black\">Call for papers<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: black\">Abstracts for 20-minute papers are welcome.
