Tabatha Andrews<\/a>, a sculptor and installation artist who is an Associate Lecturer on the MA Contemporary Art Practice programme, has won the prize for Best Collaborative Arts Project (Static) at the national Building Better Healthcare Awards. Working in collaboration with the patients of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and woodturners in Devon and Cornwall, she won the prize for ‘The Dispensary’, an interactive sculpture for Alzheimer\u2019s and\u00a0dementia patients and their carers at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. The work was commissioned by the Royal British Society of Sculptors and CW+, Chelsea and Westminster’s Arts Charity.\u00a0The Building Better Healthcare Awards celebrate innovation and improvement in the built environment, medical devices and people working in the healthcare industry.
