Dr Karen Roulstone<\/a> has had two of her\u00a0paintings selected for inclusion in the 248th Royal Academy Summer Exhibition<\/a> in London.<\/p>\n

Karen is Lecturer in Fine Art and programme leader for the\u00a0MA Contemporary Art Practice<\/a> at Plymouth University.\u00a0She is also co-director of The Alamo Project<\/a>, an artist led studio initiative offering a mentoring environment for emerging artists.<\/p>\n

The Summer Exhibition is\u00a0co-ordinated by\u00a0Richard Wilson RA<\/a>,\u00a0and runs from 13 June – 21 August 2016.<\/p>\n

Famous as the world\u2019s largest open submission show, this year also features\u00a0work by some of the art world\u2019s most successful artistic duos whose work will be dispersed throughout.<\/p>\n

Highlights include a large-scale suspended kite sculpture by Heather and Ivan Morison, sculpture by brothers Jake and Dinos Chapman, and an atmospheric photographic installation from Jane and Louise Wilson.\u00a0Most works in the exhibition\u00a0are\u00a0for sale, giving you the opportunity to own original artworks by leading artists of today and tomorrow.<\/p>\n
