Gribbon Award from the <a href=\"http:\/\/amis.org\/\">American Musical Instrument Society<\/a>\u00a0(AMIS) for the second consecutive year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';color: black\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.plymouth.ac.uk\/staff\/nuria-bonet-filella\">Nuria Bonet<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';color: black\">\u00a0was awarded a travel award to attend the AMIS General Meeting in Vermillion, South Dakota\u00a0in May 2016. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';color: black\">The award recognises her work into Catalan shawms and she has been given the chance to meet world-leading specialists in organology. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';color: black\">Nuria is located in the <a href=\"http:\/\/cmr.soc.plymouth.ac.uk\/\">Interdisciplinary Centre for Computer Music Research<\/a> (ICCMR), supervised by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.plymouth.ac.uk\/staff\/eduardo-miranda\">Professor Eduardo Miranda<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plymouth.ac.uk\/staff\/alexis-kirke\">Dr Alexis Kirke<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A doctoral researcher\u00a0at\u00a0Plymouth University has received the prestigious William A.
