How arts can contribute directly to research into the science of computing and Human Computer Interaction (HCI)&#8221; at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbaw.de\/en\/\">Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities<\/a> on Tuesday 14<sup>th<\/sup> June 2016.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"goog-text-highlight\">His\u00a0speech\u00a0is part of an event called\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.diejungeakademie.de\/aktivitaeten\/initiativen-projekte-tagungen\/woman-mind-machine\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Wo\/Man, Mind, Machine&#8221;<\/a>, which is a collaboration\u00a0between\u00a0the\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"goog-text-highlight\">Israel Young Academy<\/span><span class=\"goog-text-highlight\">\u00a0and the German Young Academy,<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0focuses on the connection between man and machine.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Kirke\u00a0is Senior Research Fellow in the <a href=\"http:\/\/cmr.soc.plymouth.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Interdisciplinary Centre for Computer Music (ICCMR)<\/a> at Plymouth University.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr Alexis Kirke has been invited to present\u00a0a keynote talk entitled &#8220;For entertainment purposes only?
