[\u2026]\u00a0 The first deployment will be with the 31st MEU aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp and the second will be with the 13th MEU aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Essex, said spokeswoman Capt. Sarah Burns.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The first deployment to the U.S. Central Command AOR (area of responsibility) \u2013 that includes Iraq, Syria, Iran, Yemen and Afghanistan \u2013 has long been anticipated. In 2016, Lt. Gen.
