The Dartmouth Centre for Seapower and Strategy (DCSS) at University of Plymouth and the\u00a0 NATO Allied Maritime Command (MARCOM)\u00a0 co-hosted the Third MARCOM-DCSS Sea Power Conference at Warren House, Kingston-Upon- Thames, Surrey UK on Monday, 10 February 2020. The Conference explored what the critical operational dilemmas in delivering Allied deterrence\u00a0 are in the 2020s.<\/p>\n

A significant emphasis was placed on cross-component integration and on the new cyber and space operational domains of conflict. The conference\u00a0 brought together a select group of academics, government officials, media practitioners and military leaders to brainstorm the dynamics of contemporary deterrence and its contemporary application.<\/p>\n

The University was represented by Professor Kevin Jones, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering,\u00a0 University of Plymouth,\u00a0 Dr Fotios Moustakis, Associate Professor and Director of the DCSS and Dr Simon Murden, Lecturer in Strategic Studies.<\/p>\n
