{"id":1440,"date":"2010-11-29T10:23:40","date_gmt":"2010-11-29T10:23:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/technologyenhancedlearning.net\/?p=1440"},"modified":"2010-11-29T10:23:40","modified_gmt":"2010-11-29T10:23:40","slug":"open-educational-resources","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.plymouth.ac.uk\/digital-education\/open-educational-resources\/","title":{"rendered":"Open Educational Resources"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Plymouth currently has three Open Educational Resources (OER) projects funded by JISC and the Higher Education Academy.<\/p>\n<p>These projects are funded from Phase 2 of the\u00a0<a title=\"(external site)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hefce.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">HEFCE<\/a>-funded Open Educational Resources (OER) programme, managed jointly by the\u00a0<a title=\"(external site)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.heacademy.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Higher Education Academy<\/a> and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jisc.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">JISC<\/a>. The programme runs between August 2010 and August 2011, it will build on and expand the work of the pilot phase around the release of OER material, and commence research and technical work examining the discovery and use of OER \u2013 specifically by academics.<\/p>\n<p>The OER projects currently running at the\u00a0University\u00a0of Plymouth are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/cpdoer.net\/\">Learning from WOeRK: OERs for CPD in the workplace<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/openfieldwork.org.uk\/\">The Open Fieldwork (OF) Project<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/edor.org.uk\/\">The Educational Development Open Resources (EDOR) Project<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These projects build on the experiences ganined from\u00a0the previous <a href=\"http:\/\/c-changeproject.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">C-change in GEES Project<\/a>, funded under the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jisc.ac.uk\/whatwedo\/programmes\/elearning\/oer.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Open educational resources programme &#8211; phase 1<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Plymouth currently has three Open Educational Resources (OER) projects funded by JISC and the Higher Education Academy.
