If a form has no group(s) attached to it, no one can access the form unless via a web-link. By using groups we can control which year groups and schools can access the forms.<\/p>\n<p>The naming protocol that we use for each group features the programme (e.g. Medical\/Dental) and the graduating year. For example \u2018Medical 2019\/20\u2019 will be students in Medical School, graduating in the academic year 2019\/2020.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1802 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.plymouth.ac.uk\/digital-education\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/96\/2019\/07\/1-induction-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"346\" height=\"221\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Task 1<br \/>\nCreate a Group<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Access Form<sup>2<\/sup> &gt; Administration &gt; Groups<\/li>\n<li>Select the green button \u2018+ Create group\u2019.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1803 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.plymouth.ac.uk\/digital-education\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/96\/2019\/07\/groups-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"811\" height=\"398\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enter the groups\u2019 name in the \u2018Title\u2019 field.\n<ul>\n<li>The first main group should reflect the whole of the department\/school. The parent will hold no members (in our case students). Other forms relative to year groups, select the corresponding year group.<\/p>\n<p>The Title should reflect the programme and the graduation year<strong> or<\/strong> the associated group such as admin\/tutors etc, protocols are important to keep group names easy to recognize.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Access Form<sup>2<\/sup> &gt;
