DL can be understood as an aspect of other capabilities, including enterprise, creativity, innovation, career planning and lifelong learning.<\/p>\n<p>SEEDPoD is a two year, JISC funded project that will complete in July 2013. \u00a0It is building on the work of the <a title=\"Building Capacity \u2013 University of Plymouth\" href=\"http:\/\/technologyenhancedlearning.net\/jisc-projects\/building-capacity-university-of-plymouth\/\">BCUP project<\/a> and is identifying and implementing a range of appropriate interventions that will instigate a step change in adoption of the digital skills across our stakeholder groups.<\/p>\n<p>The <a title=\"link to Seedpod site\" href=\"http:\/\/technologyenhancedlearning.net\/seedpod\/\">SEEDPoD project website<\/a> has a range of resources that explain and support digital literacies for students, academic and support staff at Plymouth University.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Digital literacies (DLs) are those capabilities that fit an individual for learning, working and living in a context where digital forms of information and communication predominate.
