{"id":3227,"date":"2010-11-29T15:20:40","date_gmt":"2010-11-29T15:20:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/141.163.141.48:8888\/tela\/?p=3227"},"modified":"2010-11-29T15:20:40","modified_gmt":"2010-11-29T15:20:40","slug":"learning-from-woerk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.plymouth.ac.uk\/digital-education\/learning-from-woerk\/","title":{"rendered":"Learning from WOeRK"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- p.p1 {margin: 5.0px 0.0px 5.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Arial} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 10.0px 18.0px; font: 12.0px Calibri} span.s1 {font: 12.0px Calibri} span.s2 {color: #8b8b8b} span.s3 {font: 12.0px 'Times New Roman'} -->The Learning from WOeRK project is funded through the Higher Education Academy\/JISC <a href=\"http:\/\/www.heacademy.ac.uk\/ourwork\/teachingandlearning\/oer\/phase2\" target=\"_blank\">Open Educational Resources Programme &#8211; Phase 2.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/cpdoer.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">Learning from WOeRK Project<\/a> will produce open resources which support learning in the workplace and continuing professional development (CPD).<\/p>\n<p>Resources equivalent to 360 credits are being developed under 3 broad themes: learning through work, research skills; and leadership and management.\u00a0 The resources will be produced and made freely available on the University\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/uplace.org.uk\" target=\"_blank\">UPlaCe<\/a> repository and <a href=\"http:\/\/jorum.ac.uk\" target=\"_blank\">Jorum<\/a>, publicising the work of the staff involved and of the University.\u00a0 They will include PowerPoint presentations, Ms Word and PDF resources, short videos and podcasts.<\/p>\n<p>The project\u2019s support for learning in the workplace closely aligns with the University\u2019s newly validated CPD framework and the Bachelors in Professional Development and Masters in Professional Development.\u00a0 The resources will directly support learners on these programmes.<\/p>\n<p>Further information is available from the project website: <a href=\"http:\/\/cpdoer.net\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/cpdoer.net<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Learning from WOeRK project is funded through the Higher Education Academy\/JISC Open Educational Resources Programme &#8211; Phase 2.
