
{"id":3235,"date":"2010-02-01T15:27:47","date_gmt":"2010-02-01T15:27:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/141.163.141.48:8888\/tela\/?p=3235"},"modified":"2010-02-01T15:27:47","modified_gmt":"2010-02-01T15:27:47","slug":"uspace-web2-0-tools","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.plymouth.ac.uk\/digital-education\/uspace-web2-0-tools\/","title":{"rendered":"UsPaCe &#8211; Web2.0 Tools"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>UsPaCe was funded by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jisc.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external\">JISC<\/a> under the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jisc.ac.uk\/fundingopportunities\/funding_calls\/2007\/04\/circular0107.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external\">JISC Capital Circular 1\/07: Cross Institutional Support of Lifelong Learning<\/a> programme and was a regional, cross-institutional, collaborative project that investigated the application of suitable Web 2.0 technologies to support:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Foundation Degree (FdSc, FdA and HNC) learners engaged in Work Based Learning (WBL);<\/li>\n<li>learners progressing from Foundation Degree to the final year of an Honours degree;<\/li>\n<li>WBL mentors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>UsPaCe aimed to support the needs of WBL learners and mentors via the creation and sharing of resources and by providing online student support for learners in the work-place to be accessed via desktop or mobile devices.
