{"id":3242,"date":"2010-10-01T15:35:20","date_gmt":"2010-10-01T15:35:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/141.163.141.48:8888\/tela\/?p=3242"},"modified":"2010-10-01T15:35:20","modified_gmt":"2010-10-01T15:35:20","slug":"digital-literacy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.plymouth.ac.uk\/digital-education\/digital-literacy\/","title":{"rendered":"Digital Literacy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of the key elements of the Univeristy of Plymouth&#8217;s Building Capacity project is learning from the JISC funded<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.academy.gcal.ac.uk\/llida\/\" target=\"_blank\">Learning Literacies for a Digital Age (LLiDA<\/a>) project.<\/p>\n<p>In order to fully benefit from the LLiDA experience we are working with Helen Beetham, an expert in this area. Helen recently facilitated a workshop for us to help in <em>Defining the Digital Literacy needs of UoP<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This workshop was attended by a range of Decision makers and Influencers from across the University and is a precursor to focus groups with students and staff.<\/p>\n<p>The key resources used in the <em>Defining the Digital Literacy needs of UoP<\/em> workshop were<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"\/tela\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Managing-change-Plymouth.pdf\">Managing change: organizations, roles and strategies<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/tela\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Literacies-development-framework.pdf\">Literacies development framework<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/tela\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Learning-Literacies-for-a-Digital-Age-institutional-audit-tool.pdf\">Learning Literacies for a Digital Age- institutional audit tool<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/tela\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Plymouth-workshop-slides.pdf\">Plymouth workshop slides<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The next stage of this work is to collate the response of workshop participants and follow-up with individuals as necessary.<\/p>\n<p>The Plymouth audit will be published here once it is completed<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the key elements of the Univeristy of Plymouth&#8217;s Building Capacity project is learning from the JISC funded Learning Literacies for a Digital Age (LLiDA) project.
