It is based on the enzymes of the Gastrointestinal (GI) tract and aimed at first year medical students. Each enzyme has been granted a character to enhance the learner\u2019s memory and recall. The comic book is supplemented with appropriate medical information and self-assessment questions.\u00a0The inspiration of the study stemmed from the experiences for year 1 student\u2019s who found it challenging to understand key medical concepts.
