This week is International Open Access Week: an opportunity to celebrate the sharing of research. The theme for International Open Access Week 2018 is ‘Designing equitable foundations for open knowledge’.
We’d like researchers at all levels to think about the global nature of open research:
- How can open access make your research more sustainable?
- Can open systems reinforce equality?
- What areas may be appropriate or inappropriate for open access research?
Share your thoughts by tweeting us @OpenResPlym and using the official Open Access Week hashtag: #OAWeek.
Each day we’ll be tweeting about different Open Access themes.
- Monday: Global Open Access – Exploring the benefits of opening our research to the world.
- Tuesday: New Research – We’ll be sharing some of our popular research outputs and newly released papers.
- Wednesday: Research Data – Look out for handy hints and tips about managing research data, with a view to making data open.
- Thursday: Thesis Thursday – We’ll be joining in the #ThesisThursday campaign and sharing items from our most downloaded collections.
- Friday: New Developments in Open Access – Some of the exciting developments emerging from open scholarship.
