You may be aware that HEFCE\u2019s policy for REF2021 has changed and from 1st<\/sup> April 2018, all outputs must be deposited within 90 days of acceptance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n With this in mind, we have created a new depositing process. <\/strong>The 3-step process takes 5 minutes. Items will enter the repository as closed and embargoes can be applied manually by the Open Research Team. Additional information will merge with the basic record as soon as Elements can harvest it from the publisher.<\/p>\n We ask all authors to Act On Acceptance <\/strong>and deposit their work as soon as they know they are accepted for publication! \nThis checks to see if a co-author has already deposited it into our repository, to save you duplicating the work.<\/li>\n
\nFill out the authors (drag into correct order), acceptance date, title & journal title.<\/li>\n
\nUpload the correct version, usually a PDF of author\u2019s accepted manuscript, then confirm the deposit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
