This year, Open Access Week will take place on the <strong>25th-31st of October<\/strong>. Its theme is &#8216;It Matters How We Open Knowledge: Building Structural Equity&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>The Library will be running a series of events in celebration of Open Access Week. It questions the rationale behind the billions of pounds per year that flow into for-profit publishers, and examines the 35-40% profit margin associated with the top academic publisher, Elsevier.<\/p>\n<p>The documentary will be screened in <strong>Charles Seale-Hayne Library, Room 008<\/strong>, from <strong>12:00-14:00, 27th October <\/strong>with no booking required.
