I am Francesca Tirotto and I am from the wonderful island of Sardinia!\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I took my Master\u2019s Degree in Psychology of Social and Work processes at the University of Cagliari (Italy). During my university experience, I developed a keen interest in the research topic of Environmental Psychology. This discipline focuses on the study of the relationship between people and their surroundings. In particular, my aim was to understand psychosocial processes underlying sustainable behaviours.<\/p>\n

As a PhD student on the geothermal project, I have the opportunity to apply a theoretical framework based on social and environmental psychology in a research context. Within this project, I am studying the social acceptance of the communities surrounding the technology site of the geothermal energy in Cornwall.<\/p>\n

I spend most of my time working on the development of my study, but you could also easily find me lifting heavy weights in a CrossFit gym, going by bike around the city or eating huge vegan burgers on the weekend!<\/p>\n
