Dr Alexis Kirke has been invited to present a keynote talk entitled “For entertainment purposes only? How arts can contribute directly to research into the science of computing and Human Computer Interaction (HCI)” at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities on Tuesday 14th June 2016.
His speech is part of an event called “Wo/Man, Mind, Machine”, which is a collaboration between the Israel Young Academy and the German Young Academy, and focuses on the connection between man and machine.
Dr Kirke is Senior Research Fellow in the Interdisciplinary Centre for Computer Music (ICCMR) at Plymouth University.
