As part of his AHRC ECR Leadership Fellowship project Imagining Alternatives, David Sergeant, Lecturer in English post-1850, is currently working with local partners and communities on ‘Feasts for the Future’ – a series of communal meals which will be used as a way of exploring and nurturing alternative futures. As part of the build up to the first ‘Feast’, participants recently attended the second of two interdisciplinary workshops at Plymouth, with the aim of broadening horizons, sharing knowledge and making connections. David’s account of the workshop can be found on the Imagining Alternatives project website via this link – Workshop 2: Narratives into the Future (Food and Architecture).
