HAMAS NEGOTIATING TRUCE TERMS WITH ISRAEL

Hamas is in discussions to reach a deal with Israel that would allow Palestinian to travel through the Rafah crossing and goods to be brought in and out of the Gaza Strip through Kerem Shalom (Kerm Abu Salem) crossing, Israeli radio has said.

Quds Press reported Reshet Bet radio station saying the deal is made up of three phases, the first would see the reopening of the crossings between Gaza and Egypt and allow the crossings to Israel to reopen.

The second phase includes signing an agreement between Fatah and Hamas to renew paying the full salaries to Palestinian Authority employees in Gaza, paving the way for the PA to control the coastal enclave under Egyptian auspicious and for elections to be held in six months.
