The third network event was held in London in October 2016 at the Victoria and Albert Museum, the offices of the Worshipful Company of Glovers of London, and at the Museum of London.
The first day was spent with the curatorial team at the V&A discussing the interpretation of the European Galleries, while day two was spent in the Clothworkers Centre, working on the early modern glove collection.
Day three involved a meeting with the Worshipful Company of Glovers in the City of London, and a curator-led glove-handling session at the Museum of London led by Timothy Long, Curator of Fashion and Decorative Arts.
