‘Spaces that Speak’ animation to be exhibited in New York

‘Spaces that speak’ letterpress animation, created by Plymouth University lecturer in Graphic Communication with Typography Victoria Squire, in collaboration Plymouth alumnus, Louise Evans, has been selected to be shown at the ‘Animation + Printing’ animation showcase/exhibition at the New York Centre for Book Arts from 12 July – 23 September 2017.

The ‘Animation + Printing’ exhibition aims to showcase techniques common in the book arts such as letterpress printing from moveable type, wood type, pressure printing, lino and wood cut, etching, silkscreen as well as animation in watermarked paper, the selected films represent a new territory in both animation and the book/print arts.
