Wild Gestures, the first collection by Plymouth University Lecturer in English and Creative Writing Lucy Durneen, has been shortlisted in the Best Short Story Collection category at the Saboteur Awards. Published by Midnight Sun Publishing, the book brings together stories of loss, desire and opportunities missed and was released in January this year. The winner will be selected by public vote and announced at a ceremony in London in May.
