Building Student Engagement with Moodle

A short informal hands-on review of the Moodle Tools. You will have the opportunity to try out a selection of Moodle Tools and discuss how they can be used in your online teaching. Concentrating on making ‘Quick Wins’ with an overview of all tools, this session will be reactive to your needs on the day.

Accessibility and Ally for Teaching and Learning

This short session will discuss the recent changes in accessibility legislation and the impact on teaching and learning content. You will also learn about a new tool called Ally, which will be integrated into Moodle to help support and improve accessibility of content within the DLE. Other accessibility tools found within popular software such as Microsoft Word will also be discussed.
