Embedding PebblePad in the Curriculum: new staff development course

PebblePad is the University’s web based ePortfolio system. It is available to all staff and students, and can be used independently for personal and professional development, or as part of assessed activities within the curriculum. Do you include any of the following as part of your teaching or student support activities?:

  • Portfolio Assessment
  • Action planning
  • Skills, competency or capability audits
  • Evidencing achievement
  • Reflective diaries or journals
  • Personal or Professional Development activities
  • Workbooks

If so, the new PebblePad staff development course might be of interest to you.
This 2 hour hands-on session will provide live examples of how PebblePad is currently being used in the curriculum across a number of disciplines.
Participants will have the opportunity to become familiar with the interface, tools, templates and activities within PebblePad, and will learn how to create bespoke activities to use with their students. There will also be a demonstration and discussion around how PebblePad can be embedded in the curriculum to give students a varied approach to technology enhanced learning.

The first of these new workshops is on Friday 27th February 14:00 – 16:00 Room 322 Babbage. To book a place and to view subsequent dates, follow this direct link to the Employee Self-Service.
