Learning from WOeRK

The Learning from WOeRK project is funded through the Higher Education Academy/JISC Open Educational Resources Programme – Phase 2.

The Learning from WOeRK Project will produce open resources which support learning in the workplace and continuing professional development (CPD).

Resources equivalent to 360 credits are being developed under 3 broad themes: learning through work, research skills; and leadership and management.  The resources will be produced and made freely available on the University’s UPlaCe repository and Jorum, publicising the work of the staff involved and of the University.  They will include PowerPoint presentations, Ms Word and PDF resources, short videos and podcasts.

The project’s support for learning in the workplace closely aligns with the University’s newly validated CPD framework and the Bachelors in Professional Development and Masters in Professional Development.  The resources will directly support learners on these programmes.
