The EDOR Project is funded as part of the JISC/HEA Phase 2 of the Open Educational Resources (OER) Open Material for Accredited Courses (OMAC) Programme.
The EDOR Project aims to establish a collection of critically evaluated teaching materials on a range of educational and staff development topics for the broader UK HE community. All materials and accompanying contextual information will be considered in terms of the Professional Standards Framework with regard to: the accreditation and recognition routes of CPD; for staff in HE, and HE in FE; and for non-programme staff development materials. Advice and guidance on the development of OER for staff CPD will also be collated and released as part of the Project’s outputs.
Expertise and engagement in the EDOR project come from the University of Plymouth’s Educational Development Unit, the University of Plymouth Colleges (UPC), the Learning and Teaching Directorate and the GEES Subject Centre, with the latter providing advice on the development of Open Educational Resources (OER) gained through the previous C-change in GEES Project (http://c-changeproject.org.uk/).
