Food for Thought exhibition

Students of ADA also hosted The Food for Thought exhibition. Bringing together six unique projects, students created work around questions to do with food, inclusivity, and sustainability. The exhibition was on display from October 20th to 27th, in RLB Crosspoint. Adjacent to the exhibition were containers from Plymouth Foodbank, where non-perishable food items were collected.

The Food for Thought exhibition marked World Food Day, which originates from UN work and highlights the UN Sustainable Goal pledge to achieve zero hunger by 2030. Food for Thought aimed to raise awareness of local food poverty, while aligning with the ADA Athena Swan Action plan. Student Ambassadors and Student Volunteers assisted in the running of this event.

The Food for Thought exhibition poster was designed by student Radhika Chintaluri. Students Lauren Lambert and Cerys O’Brien undertook exhibition set-up for this event, as well as creating the From Field to Plate animated film.
